An alternative perspective.. Given that Elon is capable of occasionally putting his foot in his mouth or can go off-roaring from the planned script with his comments. I would welcome Elon’s active participation. If he fans the flames of fear for Tesla stockholders it could LOWER the stock price. That is simply Tesla shares on sale. I’m buying at a discount.
If Elon could stay focused on the financials, that would be great for the market analysts and investors to hear. His habit of going off on tangents about the potentials of FSD, robo taxi, BOT is annoying. During this Q3 EARNINGS CALL the focus should be on recent financial results.
Hearing Elon’s voice on the call, while often pleasing to retail shareholder fans, is certainly not necessary. Zach, Drew, and Martin are easily able to handle this quarterly ‘corporate chore’. Given the date of this particular Earnings Call and its proximity to the expected Twitter deal close, agree any Elon participation is best delivered via prepared recorded statement after the statement has been vetted by legal. With a big deal in play, the stakes are too high for any verbal ambiguity.
For the crystal ball gazers that see that Tesla could repatriate market shares as a buy back or T-stock...would Tesla shareholders be better off if the Tesla shares were at a lower repurchase price or higher?
I believe Master of Coin can handle it. Love Elons accent and love to hear him talk...However I am perfectly fine with ZK. Thanks again Mama for all that you do. I very much appreciate you ❤️jvbimages22
Only thing I'll add is that I'm a "fan boy" of Elon, $TSLA and a big proponent of free speech. I say this because, as you wrote, this is about the business and Elon tends to go off on tangents and doesn't like to play wallstreet games (can't blame him).
Either way and quite ironically when he's on calls he isn't adding much quantitative value.
@TeslaBoomerMama ForTesla Board. Replace Larry, he is leaving
I cannot think of a better person to be on the board.

Very eloquently said Alexandra!
Either way, it is always enjoyable to hear what is living in that brilliant company...
Elon's comments is usually only for those who really know and follow him seriously.
That does not mean we always have to agree with him.
Love the subtlety and inherent kindness of your piece. You are really developing your voice as an author and I think it is fantastic!
Thank you Cathy, so appreciate your support.

You are saying it much better than me, thank you Cathy.
Très bien dit, NOW ONTS PEUX-TU les convaincre de venir s'installer aux QUÉBEC ????😁🤣🌏🌎🌍🌍🚀
It’s always possible with Elon on the call that he will spill the beans early on an upcoming development in Tesla.

Couldn't have said it any better myself.
